Köpi sold / raids in autonomous spaces against anti-g8 structur
Yesterday: the well known autonomous cultur and livingproject Köpi got sold to a private investor for about 800.000€. right now there is now exact information who bought the house, it seems the official company "VKB" was only founded for buying the köpi and there is no Information who is the people behind it. though the area arround köpi is in a process of gentrification and property is very atractive for investment, this is a proper threat against the project. köpi is the biggest autonomous center/squat in germoney and probably even a longer walk beyond its borders.
today: more than 60 autonomous and left spaces as well as private flats in the cities Berlin, Hamburg and Bremen got raid by the police for §129 (terrist organisation) in connection to the coming protests against g8 next month.
this was an attack against all of us and against left resistance in generall.
this attack is not excaptable and reqires ananswer!
we call everbody to take spontanous action and for action day on the 12th of may
defend left politics and autonomous spaces/centers!

One week of Actions in Berlin in Solidarity with Ungdomshuset: A Short Summary
After the eviction of Ungdomhuset, people met the same day at 7pm in front of the Köpi (a Berlin autonomous space) in order to show solidarity with our friends from the North...
Around 400 people responded to the spontaneous call, and the demo began without a police presence. Screaming slogans and exploding fireworks kept the group charged and ready. Two posh cars got damaged along the demo's route.
After a short time pigs showed up and blocked the demo: the attempt at breaking through the police line did not succeed. Therefore the demo was registered and could continue around the Kreuzberg district until 9pm.
On the same night, in the district of Friedrichshain, unknown person(s) built a barricade with trash bins and set it on fire in the Proskauer Strasse, near to the Rigaer Strasse. The traffic was blocked from cops for a short while.
Neverthless, cops tried to have their revenge the following day, since a rally in front of the Danish embassy was planned. The 70 which showed up faced around 200 cops, including a watercannon(!). The area was closed down as well.
Since the rally was illegal, the cops freaked out and stole a few banners which the participants had brought with them. Afterwards some people tried to have a spontaneous demo on one of Berlin's main roads, the action ended with a few people arrested.
The following Saturday, another action took place at Frankfurter Allee, Friedrichshain's main road, where trash bins were set alight to block the road and graffiti was painted.
Next Sunday, another spontaneous demo took place in the Friedrichshain district. Around 100 people, mostly masked up, moved on from the Rigaer Strasse, demonstrating loud in the south part of the district, an extremely gentrified one. The main slogan chanted was "We are all Ungdomhuset".
The demo lasted 20 minutes, blocked again the Frankfurt Allee, and a Lidl (big german supermarket) got smashed on Rigaerstrasse.
The pigs showed up too late as the demo was already finished. Nobody got arrested.
The following Tuesday, another spontaneous demo took place in Kreuzberg. Around 70 masked up people moved from Kreuzberg to Friedrichshain, carrying banners and exploding fireworks. After half an hour, as soon as pigs showed up, people dispersed and no arrests have been made.
The highlight of the week has been the demo on Saturday the 10th. A demo in solidarity with our comrades in Copenhagen and with the endangered autonome projects in Berlin: among others, the queer-lesbian-transgender wagon site Schwarzer Kanal is facing now a serious threat of eviction.
The demo began in Hackescher Markt, in the central district of Mitte, a posh and gentrified area. Police presence was extremely high (around 700) due to the location chosen by the demo organisers. The pigs controlled and searched people who wanted to join the demo.
Despite this, a 2000 people strong demo finally moved around 7pm. People made chains, many banners were there, and the demo was determined and loud. The demo went a while around Mitte, chanting loud and strong solidarity messages, and speeches were made about all endangered projects.
As the the demo reached the Prenzlauerberg district, another yuppified area in which a few projects are still fighting for survival (as also in Mitte), the demo ended at a big crossroad.
Once there, there was a try to break through police lines. Due to the massive police presence, it was impossible. Therefore some 300 people got smarter and took another street were there was low police presence, forming a spontaneous demo.
Immediately masked up people tried to attack a civil cop van with stones, but cops were too fast. Then people just went through the yuppie neighbourhood and smashed some yuppie bars, 9 posh cars were demolished and a bank. Cop cars were also hit by flying stones and fireworks...There was also an atttempt to build a barricade.
At the demonstration, 20 people were arrested, 8 charged with resistance, breaching the peace and trying to liberate prisoners. All the arrested are released.
The next day, a Berlin newspaper appeared with the heading 1000 Arnarchos Storm Mitte
which is not true, we were twice as many! Next time we are going to be even more and even meaner!
All in all, there was a long week of resistance here in Berlin, although soldarity actions occurred in around 40 German towns and cities!
Bambule, Randale, Kopenhagen!
The long weekend of the Rigaerstrasse
The campaign will be opened with a long weekend which will take place here in the street.

"Rigaer 94" Fights Back
Slogans Sprayed
Yesterday night unknown persons spray-painted the fronts of houses and demolished a car in Friedrichshain. As the police say, these acts are linked to the living and cultural project "Rigaer 94". Houses in Rigaer, Liebig and Scharnweber streets were painted with about 20 slogans, for example "Scheiß Deutschland" (shit germany) and "Rigaer fight back".
Also in Rigaerstraße the Mercedes of Suitbert B., who bought number 94 seven years ago, was damaged. The inhabitants, ex-squatters, have cheap rent contracts since the legalisation. Several times B. tried to evict the houses through the courts, but was only successfull in some cases. At every partial eviction there havge been massive police operations. Right now "Rigaer 94" has a cult status within the scene, similar to the house project "Köpi" in Köpenicker Straße in Berlin/Mitte or the project "York59" in Kreuzberg.
